I am a Poet

Would you gaze in haze?

as the blood boils deep in my veins

Appreciate or hate

as I draw my words

on my sensitized pad

Would you believe or ignore

as I say undoubted

I am a poet

 

Like a tree

I am the leaves of poetry

Hitched on with passion

and love

 

In my mind

In my soul

In my heart

I am a poet

 

Saint of imperative words

and persistent rhythms

that comes and goes

to soothe frozen life

Corrections: Belief - believe and I wouldn't capitalize every first line unless it starts a new sentence as it throws off the flow. Poetry can be written without punctuation but the line breaks have to be perfect in order to do that. I'm not so sure about this poem, my suggestions would be to add some internal punctuation and take a closer look at your line breaks. You have some good use of vocabulary and nice word choices in this but I think it could benefit from some tweaking. Most poets don't profess to be poets. They just are. :)

Lovely poem poppie! You certainly are a poet. One thing though - "Would you belief or ignore" should really say "Would you believe or ignore?", apart from that, very nice work.
