You Dont Deserve My Tears

You Dont Deserve My Tears

A Poem by Amy

I have waited for you,

held all my tears.

Last night I let them flow,

for I will never again cry over you,

because you don’t deserve my tears.

I give up on you.

I no longer care.

I try not to feel.

I try not to cry,

because each day of you not being around me,

is another reminder of why,

you don’t deserve my tears.

The pieces of a bleeding lie,
in the depths of my soul,
shards from a broken mirror,
each one twisting a little harder,
pushing a little deeper,
taking my precious life away from me,
all because of your selfishness,

and for all of this,

you don’t deserve my tears.
