Lost

Lost

A Poem by Amy

I’m lost without you,

I can’t look around,

I’m listening in the distance,

but I can’t make a sound.

I’m lost in your memories,

the times there was an “us”,

you left me without reason,

caught up in the realms of lust.

I’m lost in your scent,

the one that perfumes my heart,

it caresses my soul,

yet tears me apart.

I’m lost in your game,

you’ve stolen the instructions from me,

I don’t know where to turn,

I can’t even see.

I’m lost without your love,

the love that keeps me alive,

my soul is weakened,

I’ve lost the need to survive.
