Growing Up

Growing Up

A Poem by A. Wrin

we're dizzy and young
we're just having fun
we're soaking up sun
so naive and dumb

we're climbing up trees
we're feeling the breeze
we're scraping our knees
we do what we please

we're staying up late
we're feeling so great
we're set to create
And make our mistakes

we're having a blast
we're making us laugh
we're spinning 'round fast
we thought it would last

The memories we made
That time slipped away
Just woke up one day
Older and afraid

Loved this piece. It's quietly profound and brings back many a good memory. A very emotional poem and very well done.
