Creeping loneliness

Creeping loneliness

A Poem by June bug

Creeping loneliness
gently rains
There is nothing more
then tear stains.

Upon a clear night
love resides
among the rubble
sits beside

An empty old heart
but no strings
creeping loneliness
it all brings

Flood gates will open
and pour down
to sum up a night
I've been found.

Yes, there is a deep level of misunderstanding in this write,
it may be a hint of sadness, and maybe a lost connection with one's own heart.

I should have read this one before Tear Stained Memories! This captures the loneliness I mentioned in my other review. At least for me. It's not always sadness. Sometimes it's a passing breath, a gentle whisper, a ticking of the clock in the silence and then it is gone. I like the simplicity.

To me it seems like all the tears have dried up and only the stains remain.... you portray the loneliness with compassion..."creeping loneliness"....perhaps a moments worth... but I see a splinter of hope within this sadness... maybe this too shall pass....lovely

"I may be lonely but I'm never alone and the night may pass me by but I never cry." Alice Cooper
A nicely crafted lonesome poem.

Thank you for your review cous'
The picture shows what is about to appear... and then, the fall of your words, explains - in your own special way, how loneliness splayed in any number of forms can numb the human spirit. Perhaps? A sad but seemingly complex write.
