Tear stained memories

Tear stained memories

A Poem by June bug
"

poem

"

A vision of art
will form in the heart
A delicate wind
caresses the chin

Tear stained memories
of how love used to be.

Cradled every thought
heart, can't be bought
love, once came and went
treasured the nights spent,

Tear stained memories
still come back to me.

I believe we all have some "tear-stained " memories; if we think back far enough, we can dig them up... this
beautiful poem refers to those memories and how difficult they are to let them loose...they keep coming back and are sometimes haunting.... your words emanate throughout about this loss and how it affects you.... well done!

I feel this way alot. "Tear stained memories of how love used to be"...
You know, I watch all the heartbreak in this world (specifically love relationships), and it really is so common. But it's horrible every time I hear of a divorce or whatnot. Sad for them but also understanding it might be best. But always there is a peace and sting after, because I am grateful it's not me in that moment, but also sad that it's only me. Still.
Needed to read this right now. Feeling the sting still means we feel, right?
Nicely done in a short way, June Bug.

Lost love is such a drain on the heart. All we are left with are memories. Let’s hope the wind of change can usher in something that the heart will welcome with open arms. I enjoyed my visit June bug. A sad poem.
