Your Cry

Your Cry

A Poem by MissRed
"

how a child's cry touches a parent's heart

"

i hear your cry
it reaches beyond my ears
to somewhere much deeper inside
a place only you can reach
my heart aches despite my head
i pick you up
warm and gentle
a piece of me i can't always understand
and i know in that moment
that i'll always remember this
faint as it may get over time.

You have ears to hear beyond the noise people make. That is an admirable quality. I like the clarity and flow of your short sweat poem.
