Summer Beach

Summer Beach

A Poem by M Lamont
"

For a contest.

"

Sandy gritty toes

Beach swept days and starry nights

Ocean tides pull us

Our sea of endless beach time

Just to end on Labor Day

Short and almost perfect. I can imagine why you haven't written in so long.
I love the line "Ocean tides pull us." It really is like that isn't it. I sometimes don't understand people who don't like the beach. You clearly do.

Keep writing. Thanks for your review of my work also - your kind words encourage me to do more. I am more a story teller than a poet.
