Farewell ~Bhuyanshi Talukdar

Farewell ~Bhuyanshi Talukdar

A Poem by Bhuyanshi Talukdar

Pastel yellow skies
and the branches of grey trees
tainted with regrets.
Birds hum a somber tune
as if a requiem for what's gone.
Streetlights flicker shutters
the emptiness
Concave clouds stays still
with our goodbyes:(

The belief that the goodbye impacts even the forces of nature defines the enormity of the love and emphasizes the sadness. Well done.

beautiful images, though a somber tune...you portray emptiness well, with Concave clouds" and the regret of branches.... is this the end of the world? or a fleeting emotion?
LOVELY
Warmly, B
