A magical World

A magical World

A Poem by Kimberly "Melody" Carney

Nature3

Under the oak tree, where my mind glides far from me.

I envision a world, pure of heart but not mistake free.

I see all the colors magnificently swirl and blend.

It beckons me to let go of this world I live in.

I gesture a nod of understanding and grace.

I cannot stay, in this wonderfully crafted place.

I must travel home through my minds worn roads.

Open my eyes, to see the beauty my world holds.

I see the birds as they fly in graceful silhouettes

They are free of burdens, they have no regrets.

The flowers bloom magically, without being told.

Within my surroundings, I see the wisdom it holds.

I shall bloom like the flower, exposing beauty within.

Fly like the bird, carefree not fearing a tail spin.

Our world holds so much wonder and magic inside.

My new dream is of one, where we are treating it with pride.

The title says it perfectly well, a dreamy magical world of beauty and fantasy, a Utopia of harmony and bliss. Nice poem and vivid graphics.

We are all born with individual uniqueness, into a world which can be both breathtakingly beautiful and brutal at the same time. We are far from perfect, but we all seek perfection in some aspects of our lives. Simply stopping just long enough to 'smell the roses' once in a while and appreciating their intoxicating aroma can put things into prospectives.
Beautifully written...

First off, your visual presentation is stunning. Nice job. Second I just love the way your poem flows over me like a peaceful waterfall. Third your imagery of a beautiful world was well done. You have a create talent with words. Fourth your message was profound. Let us all strive to take a look at nature and treat it well.

So magical, it reminds me of my dreams. It has such a nice flow to it. I wish more people could see beauty in their own surroundings.

Oh so lovely and emotional. I truly beautiful write! You are very descriptive here. And I think that your return to earth approaches an abstract form of the circle of life, whether or not intended.

Greatly enjoyed. You might consider changing "tail spin" to "the wind," or something that sounds prettier.
Also, you wrote, "I must travel home though my minds worn roads." Did you mean "through" instead of "though?"

I have a poem called, "Imagined," that you might enjoy (or not...don't feel like you must do a review on it,) since the descriptiveness reminded me of my poem. Here's the link:

Breathtaking. I sit here and ponder it. I also relax as I read because it reminds me so much of the things we should consider and yet..in our technology life we forget. There are so many beautiful things around us. Sometimes just watching a bird peck the grass or a butterfly flutter its wings can be a beauty most ill consider because our minds automatically pull toward movies, games and computers. It actually is sad that we have not been a better subject in nature. This poem is amazing.
