Shhh, can you hear me?

Shhh, can you hear me?

A Poem by Kimberly "Melody" Carney

Shhh, here the misty waters fall

They are calling your name

The birds also beckon and call

Asking of you the same

Come abide with me, rest your head

Restore your weary soul

Lavish in my earths cool soil deep

What once broken, now whole

Why am I left and forgotten

I hold healing for thee

You break me down, cut me away

All life once came from me

Shhh, can you hear me calling you

The wind guides you to me

Open your soul to understand

Embrace me and you’ll be free

~Melody

To me, your poem expresses the beautiful gifts from our Creator. There are three distinct items mentioned here. One is the actual physical beauty of creation. Another is our ability to perceive and appreciate the waterfalls and forests. The third is the effect it has on us, to imbue a spirit of calm and peace. While the words of the poem are very descriptive, the pictures are even more so.

Another spellbinding piece from you, pardon the pun but the poem comes off like a melody.

Good to listen to nature. On a quiet day. Relax sound of water can bring peace to the desperate soul. I enjoyed the video and the peaceful words. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.

the imagery is vivid and serene. i could almost hear the sounds in my head. a great place for meditation. then something goes wrong somewhere. perhaps the idyllic setting helps to heal.
