Piece and Quiet

Piece and Quiet

A Poem by Michael Stevens
"

If one could fly!

"

Peace and Quiet

Wisps of fog drift past, up here in the clouds

Looking down on chaos, and people on the run

The sound of car horns, “Get out of my way!”

The organized clutter of everyday life

is far, far away, down below

Ordinary hopes and dreams have no meaning here

Here, all is peace and quiet; turn inward to yourself

In these clouds, you float free and discover

hidden truths about yourself

Alone with our own solitude, we learn alot about ourselves. Some aren't good, some are awesome.
