Bully-Cat Strut!

This is a collaboration between Hullabaloo22 and myself

Hey, Mom, it’s getting hard for us, there’s this bunch that will intrude,

they try to makes us run away then they eat all the food.

If we don’t give in but make a stand they’ll go in for an attack,

maybe together we’d have a chance but a plan is what we lack;

the leader really pushes us beyond any endurable limit

he’s making himself at home in our shed and the bed that’s in it.

We’re being pushed out in to the cold because we exist in fear

when he’s trying to dominate us every time that he comes near.

Then there are the other ones, his off-spring in cohorts

who are just as bad as him �" he has them so well taught;

if something isn’t done he’s going to take over us and rule --

he’s treating us so badly and is saying you’re a fool.

This is our home, it’s where we live, they should do as WE say,

but these bullies are just strolling in and they don’t let us play.

Look at those fat cat's, living so easy and free,

while we're out here in the cold, well, we'll make 'em see.

Look how easy they've got it? "Well mama's cats, nap time is over now,

we'll show you hardship, when we chow down on your chow .

You'll whine and cry, but in the end you'll just take it,

after all, we're the kings now, and you'll let me, and complain a bit,

but you little wusses look like you're yellow and soft,

we know pal, in your case you are, but you can make like the rest and take off.

Look, pal, back up, you don't want to mess with us, see

we've been stealing food to survive since before you were born, we're wild and free!

If you're asking us to take pity on you boys,

why don't you back away and go play with your toys?
