Reflections In A Fun House Mirror?

Reflections In A Fun House Mirror?

A Story by Michael Stevens
"

Are we all carnival-goers?

"
President Trump's world view must come from a giant fun house mirror, the kind you look in, and you're 9 feet tall, or you have a double-chin on your stomach? From everything I've read about the man, more than one article mentions his deep-seated desire to be liked. Really?

"Hey President Don-Boy, how's that whole 'everybody loves me, trust me!' thing working out for you? You may want to pull the National Plane out of the almost vertical nose dive you're flying us into, before your 'Everybody loves me!' ends up making a crater in someone's corn field. If you have a love wish, you have a funny way of showing it. In the immortal words of John Candy in 'Planes, Trains, and Automobiles,' "You're going the wrong way!"
