There Once Was a Man Named Me

There Once Was a Man Named Me

A Poem by Michael Stevens
"

self-induced comma!

"
There once was a man named me,

whose imagination roamed less wild and free.

he suddenly had to abort,

on his life he pulled up short,

when blindsided by a fate he couldn't see!

There once was a man named me,

it took having his head bashed in to see,

there was more to a rich life,

than keeping your head above the strife,

but now he can't be all that he can be!

There once was a man named me,

who started to write because he

had many hours of the day to fill,

a complete novice, if you will,

now he gets his kicks online, and for free!
