When Did The World?

Why, when?

Watching in disbelief as the countries around the 

global sphere

make decisions that tells me common sense has 

disappeared

I wonder why, and wonder when did the world 

become so dumb?

Here at home, I wonder where the change in outlook 

came from?

I can sort of understand people who don't know any 

better,

but America has, up til now, been known as a trend 

setter

We're supposed to be super-educated and 

enlightened with reason,

but we're suddenly okay with exclusion and treason,

possibly; when did we become so blinded from the 

facts?

blind to crudeness, blinded by ignorant bluster, by 

politicians who lack

both a grasp of how the world works, and a moral 

code

we're flying in total darkness down this hell road
