Because I Know the Truth.

Because I Know the Truth.

A Poem by Rya May

Looking at the sky.

Nothing matters anymore.

Everything is average now that I've seen the.

Truth.

Nothing matters anymore.

The sun is still shinning.

If it only knew.

It didn't need to anymore.

My mind is not longer present.

My flesh bubbles and melts.

Under it's rays.

But I feel nothing.

Because I know the.

Truth.

Nothing matters anymore.

It's peeling.

I can feel my insides screaming.

But to no avail.

I feel nothing.

Nothing.

It is cool refreshing.

Dark and cloaking.

Nothing can get through it's black fog.

My mind has gone to this fortress.

I forgot my shell sitting in the sun.

It's a little over done.

But.

Still.

Nothing matters anymore.
