I am sorry,

no,I must apologize.

I am not myself around you.

I keep myself hidden from you.

For fear overwelms me,

that you may not love me.

 

For when I was little,

many despised me,

because I was different,

because I never seemed to fit in.

They hurt me you see,

not physically,but mentally.

 

That is why I hide myself from others,

thinking that they all will be the same.

I fear that if I let them come in,

they will mess me up again.

This is why I hide. Its not because of you, but because of me.

This is excellent! I love the feelings here. This is just like a well written letter to a loved one who you dont want to lose. I like the font too. The impact font here helps to illustrate your point...
