You Came Back

My head is spinning with uncontrollable emotion,

I fail trying to hide the sweet joy of seeing you from my face.

Your smile awakens the dusty heart in my chest,

unveiling a new coat of armor to protect its fragile binding.

I have received a new sense of remembrance,

Fresh and renewed I stand tall,

arms wrapping around your warm, inviting body while you do the same,

repeating the cycle from the very beginning,

my heart skipped a beat when I made it close to you,

I was only but a mile away,

but i saw you clearly on that hill,

awaiting my arrival,

I knew it was you,

it has always been you,

The one I could never forget,

I could never regret,

I could never get back but I still have you,

no matter where you go to,

I am yours and you are mine,

never ever leaving each other,

How I crave your presence

how I wish the embrace had never ended,

I wish you were still here with me,

so we could lie in each others arms forever.

Until the end of time.

and I am glad I failed to hide my smile.

Author's Note

This is a story about something that happened unexpectedly on my walk home from school. I ran into............. an old friend, we'll say that. ^^ but it was the first thing in months to get a pure smile out of me. Ive never felt this way b4. never been this confused and happy!
