We Are Sheeple-People Cattle -- One & All

A Poem by Marvin Thomas Cox-Flynn de Graham
"

An attempt at a poetic statement of the harsh reality besetting all Humanity, a reality of deception based upon that only true trinity in existence: Taxes, Tithes, & Lies ...

We are Sheeple-People Cattle

-- one and all

residing dumbly and numbly

-- within our stalls

our minds closed in securely

-- on all four sides

having been taken as bacon

-- for a mind porking ride.

There is such a naive thing

-- as foolish trust

with any lack of discernment

-- a future gone bust

for truth is seasoned with salt

-- of lies as a Lie Pie

partaking of yet another slice

-- a poke in mind's eye.

For fool's fodder is irresistible

-- to brain-dead cattle

gorging themselves upon dung

-- while rages a battle

watching humans slaughtered

-- life deprived of right(s)

Yet nary a protest is uttered

-- day becomes night.

Cattle indoctrinated to greed

-- Freedom given away

herded by wolves as shepherds

-- cattle as prey

have no say in individual's rights

-- as ignorant masses

sole property of the unseen Elite

-- as slavery's asses.

While soothes all of worries' frets

-- a New(s) socialized Media

pipes to blind Sheeple-People Cattle

-- “Hell, we'll feed ya!”

all the way to the slaughter house

-- one crisis or another

economies, wars, or pandemics

-- ain't no druthers.

On this congealed reality you can bet

-- slices of Lie Pie

shall never be in demand's shortage

-- 'till that day you die ...

Author's Note

Marvin Thomas Cox-Flynn de Graham
Sheeple People Cattle -- Sheeple-People -- A word and term which I have expanded upon and find myself favoring in my attempt to communicate the all too factual reality that people tend to allow themselves--even seem to want--to be led, watered, and fed, much like sheep, trusting others with decisions and truths regarding their lives, their futures, their welfare, and their safety, rather then shouldering up such responsibilities themselves as individuals, in finding and enjoying the comfort of numbers. The word sheeple was first coined by actress and Wall Street Journal writer, Barbara Anderson, in 1984.

we weren't led so much in the sixties...we tended to fight back...
but that will to engage seems to have vanished...now we just go along with all the politicians who don't GET along....who don't seem to care about us, just their own agendas...
it is a very sad situation...yes, we are on our way, and this is a powerful allegory.
