Lurking within the darkest shadows,

teeth yellowed and jagged in a grin,

he cowers awaiting his next to prey,

knowing a victim he is soon to win.

Some unknown fool playing the poet,

thinking to pour his heart upon page,

in allowing all of humanity to know it,

believes his heart's safe 'cause he paid.

Unknown to this poor fool playing poet,

believing there to be honor among men,

lies within a website a slinking coward,

sliding in and out, buzzing about again,

striking blows without rhyme or reason,

to the poets code oh so guilty of treason,

a man with no feeling of another's woes,

to oft offend with his pen is all he knows.

Electronic is the mighty pen he doth wield,

ripping poets apart in comment's mockery,

a coward hiding behind a hacker's shield,

his box of tricks displayed as fine crockery,

with no more to do than his skills to foster,

to bring others pain his only claim to fame,

in roaming the web as an Internet Monster.

To cruelly leave AP member poetic endeavors,

in, “Hail Atropia',” altered and edited flames,

making use of rules to write no member name,

as a part of AP history that really wasn't grand:

Kastor-ated epithets of, “Catch me if you can!

But if should be you do, will be because that you

wisely made use of a Captcha program's plan.”

The ones who do things like this, especially among poets, need to leave the room.
The picture is so apt for the poem...
Why is there such hate spreading its virus among poets who just long for peace and serenity and spread nothing but?
