When Tomorrow Comes

When Tomorrow Comes

A Poem by M.K. JOSEPH
"

To the woman I adore.

"
Tomorrow will be different.
For tomorrow I shall see you again.
It's tomorrow that I shall hug you tight.
Pull a chair and usher you in with a smile.
It's tomorrow that we shall toast, and sing, and dance.
Red wine shall surely get the mood on.
I will take your hands by mine,
Draw them closer to my heart,
And whisper to your ears,
How magnificent you look under the moonlight.
It's tomorrow that I shall smell your hair.
Am sure it's lavender that will fill the air.
Oh! How I wait for tomorrow.
When I shall draw you closer,
Fondle your beautiful face with care.
Tomorrow I shall lean deeper,
And feel your lips with mine.
Taking details of every curve of your body,
With my passion-filled arms.
You shall be the happiest woman alive.
For I shall make you smile,
Tomorrow, when you shall surely be mine.
