Broken Doll

Broken Doll

A Poem by Bree
"

Old poem

"
Like a broken doll
My arm was broken open
Muscle and blood spilled out
Skin was busted broken
Like a broken doll
I sat there in fear
That this was the end
That came to near
Like a broken doll
Guilt swelled in like eyes like the sea
Would innocent people blame themselves
Because they thought they broke me?
Like a broken doll
I was stitched back together
Good as new.
But probably not forever
All broken dolls
Have many broken scars
That appear on their body
Like the sky's broken stars
And like a broken doll
That was stitched in the arm
This broken doll
Is addicted to self harm
