Heart Of Glass

Heart Of Glass

A Poem by Bree

Once upon a time,
I loved a girl and let her pass,
As it turned out,
She had a heart made of glass.
And I just didn't handle it right,
Nor did I show it much care,
Until one day I realized,
Her heart was no longer there.
And she left me alone with her pieces,
I put them back together,
And now her and I,
Are in it forever.
I once met a girl,
She was a fine little lass,
Pretty and talented,
Holding her heart of glass.
