A Chapter by TransparentHearts

Shaking and breathless,

Fluttering with delicate wings

Inside the belly rumblies

Butterflies whisper and kiss

Delicately

Passionate tenderness floods

The inner gates of the heart

The heart fondly remains

Intact until arteries loosen

And her soft fingers take

Hold of the engine that runs

This rusty machine.

She creates butterfly wings

From the broken pieces

Of the center apparatus

Polishing and refining

Jagged edges and rough material

To fashion gentle butterflies

Solely out of fragments.

Butterflies flutterflies

Kissing so soft

Her lips are potion

Running through my veins

Down through my body

I am a tear drop in the sea

When I am with her

All consumed and non-consuming

Ever hers, laying in her arms

Butterfly kisses.
