Face v. Hand

Face v. Hand

A Poem by Enigma
"

This is a poem that was sparked by a past incident between me and an ex-stepmother. It is a very emotional and intense poem.

"

A yell, a scream,

tears streaming down a face,

no happiness anymore,

it left without a trace,

a hand rises,

It hits skin,

the hand repeats itself,

again and again,

the tear stained face,

looks into stone-cold eyes,

takes the punishment,

while it cries,

with no remorse,

with no regret,

th hand keeps on,

and continues with it,

the tears came down,

before hit one,

and the face keeps hopeing,

its almost done,

tears fall off the face,

and hit the floor,

doesnt know if it,

can take this anymore,

With one last,

painful hit,

the hand is finally,

finished with it

I understand your intention with this. A hard topic to transfer to the page. The only thing I would recommend is possibly giving a reason for what caused this as well as what came next. But the moment itself was captured well.
