The Whispers Of The Banned.

A poem based on "Go Ask Alice Anonymous"


They lured me into a world unknown.

And hooked me onto things filled with danger.

It stole away my mind and common sense.

And rid me of my personality.

A world without it could not be thought of.

I fought to get away from all of it.

But the sensation I knew brought it back.

It drove me into a state of no thought.

My feelings were being drained away.

The light began to disappear from me.

Smiles had faded from my now empty face.

It replaced all I loved with emptiness.

In the end the thing it robbed me of was life.

The drugs I thought to love, spoke my final goodbye
