A BREAK

A Break

Sometimes hurt will cloud my mind

And make me act in haste

But words keep forming in my mind

To be used and not to waste

A "break" was all I needed

To clear my cluttered mind

It helped  me see the brighter side

Where a treasure I did find

Now my mind is settled

And my heart once more is too

Sometimes a break is needed

I know now this is true

The quite time refreshed my thoughts

And helped me see more clearly

Now I can sit and write these words

That I hold in my heart so dearly!
