REMEMBERING YOU

REMEMBERING YOU

A Poem by Barbara Lynne

Remembering You

Do you see the shining stars
That twinkle in the night?
They dull in comparison
To your eyes that sparkle bright

 And what about the sun
And the warmth felt from it's rays
Still no match for the heat that flows
From you and your loving ways

 The gentle breeze that whispers
As it dances on my skin
Reminds me when you touch me
How the butterflies begin

 The water, how it rushes
To meet me on the shore
Brings thoughts of you returning
To be with me once more

 There's beauty to be found
In this world that we live in
But it can not hold a candle
To the beauty you have within

That is wonderful, it makes me want to be with my loved one even more.
this poem grasps the essence of love, and that feeling is very familiar to me.
Have a nice evening!

About
I have been writing poems and songs since I was a young girl. Sometimes it is easier to say how you feel and what you dream in a poem or song than it is face to face. I appreciate all comments and t.. more..
