A NEW DAY

A New Day

Today is the day I choose to be

In a better place in my life

No more tears and no more pain

No more days of needless strife

Today is the day I choose to look

On the brighter side of things

No looking down, keeping my head up

Facing my day and what it brings

I will keep a peace within me

I will listen for His soft voice

And follow His every direction

Then I will know it's the perfect choice

 I will dance and sing like an angel

Who just received her wings of white

A freedom will fill my spirit

As I bask inside this light

Yes today will be a new day

Filled with promise and love in my heart

Today is the day that I choose

To embrace my lifes new start
