TWO HEARTS

TWO HEARTS

A Poem by Barbara Lynne

TWO HEARTS

Two hearts made of gold
Joined forever as one
Trials tried to separate
But this could not be done

Their love is so special
Birthed from friendship long ago
Where that love would take them
Neither heart did know

Many “bumps” along the way
Gave stress to both their hearts
But they held on together
And crushed the enemies darts

Both hearts found strength
In the passion that they shared
Each one encouraged
By how much they did care

Both now have happiness
Their love has intertwined
Two hearts joined together
A greater love you'll never find

About
I have been writing poems and songs since I was a young girl. Sometimes it is easier to say how you feel and what you dream in a poem or song than it is face to face. I appreciate all comments and t.. more..
