LOVE'S WARM EMBRACE

LOVE'S WARM EMBRACE

A Poem by Barbara Lynne

LOVE'S WARM EMBRACE
The sky looks gray the night wind blows
A chill now makes me cold
A fireplace, a glass of wine
Will bring the warmth I'm told
But I know that when you're with me
I don't even feel the chill
Instead I'm warm and cozy
It's from you that I get my fill
Your warm breath from your kisses
Gently melts away the ice
A tender touch across my face
Is a feeling that's so nice
Then your arms so strong around me
Brings a warmth like that of a fire
Your eyes of blue looking deep within
Starts the heat of passion and desire
No blanket needed to keep me warm
Your embrace fits like a glove
Beads of sweat replace the chill
There is no heat like two people in love

About
I have been writing poems and songs since I was a young girl. Sometimes it is easier to say how you feel and what you dream in a poem or song than it is face to face. I appreciate all comments and t.. more..
