STOLEN MOMENTS

STOLEN MOMENTS

A Poem by Barbara Lynne

STOLEN MOMENTS

Is she sitting there beside you
Holding on to you so tight
Is she whispering I love you
As she teases you all night

Will she move her body closer
And softly kiss your handsome face
Will you give in to your desire
As you untie her blouse of lace

Will you take her to the places
Tat you used to take me to
Why can't you seem to tell her
Are you afraid what she might do?

I can't go on much longer
A "stolen moment" now and then
You always have a reason
Why you return to her again

So sweetheart please understand me
When I say that we must part
I'm worth more than just a moment
I'm a woman with  heart!

About
I have been writing poems and songs since I was a young girl. Sometimes it is easier to say how you feel and what you dream in a poem or song than it is face to face. I appreciate all comments and t.. more..
