THIS MYSTICAL PLACE

THIS MYSTICAL PLACE

A Poem by Barbara Lynne

THIS MYSTICAL PLACE

How pure, how precious true love can be
A love that's shared between just you and me

Not like the love that most people know
With this love the embers continually glow

There's warmth and there's passion burning within
To deny us these feelings would be such a sin

So I close my eyes and you're dancing with me
Holding me close and as tight as can be

Your breath gives such warmth as it touches my skin
Don't know where you end or where I begin

Your kiss is as gentle as the soft falling snow
I keep my eyes closed so the vision won't go

So I will remain in this mystical place
Until the day you and I will meet face to face

This mystical fantasy will  soon come to be
When the man that I love returns home to me

About
I have been writing poems and songs since I was a young girl. Sometimes it is easier to say how you feel and what you dream in a poem or song than it is face to face. I appreciate all comments and t.. more..
