That's when the sadness came

That's when the sadness came

A Poem by RnL

Rocks. Grey and round.

Shaping this enormous compound.

With stairs that lead to nowhere

Thats when I saw her standing there.

No face, no name thats when the sadness came

Sky. Dark and bright.

Shaping this amazing night.

The clouds streaking the moon to bare

That's when I saw her standing there.

No face, no name thats when the sadness came

I drew a picture to keep that moment in my mind.

Now I know I couldn't forget it if I tried.

Sketched by hand I know that land from anywhere

Thats when I saw her standing there.

No face, no name thats when the sadness came

The wind blew, your smell I knew

It was you standing up so high

Id tried to see you so many times

And now here you were all the things to say just a blur
