Love

it makes me want to
dance
spin around in circles
until I'm dizzy
and you catch me
in those
"oh so safe"
arms of yours

it makes me want to
sing
loud and off key
to love songs
that if i really listened
to what they were saying
I'm sure
i would hate

it makes me want to
smile
that big smile
that makes my cheeks
sore for hours after
but its
always
oh so worth it

it makes me want to
scream
as loud as i can
anything i want to say
at any damn time
that I want to
because i can

but i guess
that's just what love does
it makes you want to laugh
and smile
and spin around in circles
and most of all
it makes you
Happy
