Flowers colorful and coffees just black

Handsome dudes and laurels won

Tuxedos and tiaras

Can not be compared 

To battles fought and victories won

I really like the fragmented, abstract flow of this...how it's almost like a glimpse into mental scenery. I have a single word choice issue with it; 'dudes' pulls me out of the dreamy-eyed romance of it all, and causes me to read the rest, rather than experience it
