FRUSTRATION

FRUSTRATION

A Poem by Nicola Farren

Your thoughts are two people

who discuss and deicide.

They fight over your mouth

from a place deep inside.

Why can’t your mouth

just open and say

the feelings you know

you want it to relay?

Wait, it’s to late

now its anger you feel.

While the words from your mouth

your thoughts manage to steal.

Translation impossible

and you don’t know why.

Only then will frustration

kiss you goodbye.

Deicide? That must be a mistake; things almost got interesting.

I like how this grabs your neck than shakes you, a wake up, a moment of clarity, this rocked.

Ha I like this. It actually reminds me of how I feel sometimes. Very nice.
