Temptation

Temptation

A Poem by 4ri3ll
"

:/

"
There it is
The razor
Showing temptation at its finest
Hypnotizing me
Its gentle voice making me stay.
Specks of red crust
From last time I played
My little game.
Grabbing the smooth and cool metal
Right near my wrist
Veins visible to anyone
Innocent for far too long.
It glides so relentlessly
Like a ship into the sunset
With an everso amazing relief
From all of my mounted pain.
I know I'm stronger
I can quit this
No more sobbing and slitting
It's an avoidable habit
But what if I don't want to stop?

aahh that is physically hurting oneself to subside the pain which is wringing the heart.
but if this is what you are doing to yourself, do stop it before it has a hold over you.
