Beauteous

I love springtime, simply put.

Beauteous is the setting of the sun

against a violaceous, amaranthine sky

beauteous is the flow of cherry tree petals

caught in an updraft

spring’s fragrant snow

you know it all best 

when the day seldom dies

so breathe in the air around you

and you’ll find that there is exhumed life

take in everything and never let it go

hold in the moment and never let it go

marvel at the amazement around you

never let it go

believe there is something better

and just never let it go
