dedicated to all the victims of human-trafficking

Killer instinct runs in their blood

For I know not, how they get the gut

They color my life with chaos of trouble

All I have left is this heap of sorrow

They bisects my life till I’m half-dead

Ravish me savagely is their favorite task

And I cry and cry at night

I have no energy left to survive

 

The more I talk, the more I get stalked

By the creatures and besides me they walk

How could they feast on my precious life?

My life is downhill so I try to glide

Without pleasure or enthusiasm left to fight

My courage has transformed into foam

Every time they squeeze it, my heart is blown

Nothing has value in this kind of trade

Although my soul and body have been raped

two/three years ago when i was still in my glorious college years i happened to watch a movie called 'Trade'...it's about a 14 years old Mexican girl sold to USA and it was a true story...since then i always wanted to write something regarding this particular subject called..Human-Trafficking..so i now wrote this with my limited knowledge of English and writing skill..this is very compact and may be this would not be good or great one..but no harm's done in writing this i guess..please leave some comments..i also want to thank some members..who help me to improve my writing since i joined this web site..thanks for reading this..

The human trade is stronger today then the past. Your poem tell a sad and true story. With the advance in tech. Bad people can get away with terrible things. This poem is interesting, not too deep but still written from the heart. I admire this write and I enjoyed the line "My life is downhill so I try to glide" it shows your effort for change your position in life. The movie Trade sounds interesting and amusing to me. The write proves you have knowledge of english and writing skills which is useful. I enjoy to read poems that lets out all the emotions so when you read it, it's in your face with all the upsets and the happiness

this is really good, your author notes always help, and the background to the poem in a nice touch, but without it. This poem would still be good.
