Rainbow

Rainbow

A Poem by nyi
"

"for Children without Parents"

"

Why am I alive?

Better to die than deprived

Neglected and starved since I was born

Trip to hunger and darkness until dawn

A privilege to call someone a mother

And be protected by a loving father

Are rejected by this insane world

Is people’s immunity towards unfairness a Universal Law?

In agonizing pain, my hands are stretched

Towards the unknown real entity that has already left

Iota of affection is what I seek

When I was drowned inside nothingness in the deep

I beg for food in my dingy fashion

When to be found by someone is my real obsession

Though hope is frail, it is hard to kill

Only then I can be a rainbow that illuminates rays

An interesting puzzling pieces. Sharp!

Children are homeless everywhere today. In a world that will pay trillions for war. Can't see the sick and the hunger. Old wise saying. "Can't break downs wall of hate with gifts of love and kindness." Mean men with food and medical assistance could open door that have been closed for a long time. You told a sad and real story in your poem. I wish for wise men to take control of this world. A excellent poem.
