He Doesn't Know

He Doesn't Know

A Poem by Iz

Unbeknownst to him
when he ranaway with him he took my heart
the tears run down my face from the aching pain in my chest
the pain that grows in severity when thinking of him
I go about my work and the tears just stream down my face
they are unwelcome each and every single one of them
they don't let up but increase in speed if nothing else
just one constant stream of pain and sorrow
they don't ease the pain in the long run
but just leave me weak and drained for longer than I wish
