Humble Wishes

I wish I could soar, away up high
in the sky above the clouds
like a bird.

And be amazed at the views.
I could see all around me.

I would visit God in heaven.
And have a chat with some angels as
they stop singing to speak to me.

I would travel to far of lands.
And bask on some tropical beach
with white sands and blue waters
surrounding its island.

As I travel I would visit the Great Wall of China.
Flying from one end to the next.
With a few stops to rest and sleep
and eat.

Feeling the wind beneath my wings
and as free as nature. Carrying me alone
unlimited carefree and uninhibited.
I would feel so alive and overwhelming

My simple tale is about pure humble wishes
that would make me smile and very happy.

Oh that we could sprout wings. At least you can fly in thought Dawn as I do and frequently. A great way to escape the crap that comes with each day. You took me with you on this ride to far off places and I was blooming pleased to see the sights. Lovely poem.

Thank you sette, I guess that is another way of looking at it. Value the ones you hold close and always remind them how much. As one day they will be gone. And the only way you will be able to tell them in at the grave yard.

I think there has to be some major improvements made in the area of wishes
This is a decent enough wish, unless you don't like heights, but technological improvements seem to have bypassed the potential promising field of wishing
Here's hoping things improve and your wish comes true
