Connections

When the light is

almost extinguished within.

Something or someone

will come into your life.

And help you

relight that flame onces more.

And give you comfort and love

with kindness and humanity.

Their understanding thoughtfulness

means more than any words can be said

in return.

Most people think they are an island

adrift on the ocean

of life.

When in reality and fact

we are all connected to

some degree

more powerful than

you can believe.

Yes, some far off recluse

who has withdrawn

from society.

Can survive on their own.

But the vast majority of humans

need each other and human contact

to exist and live on earth and be happy

and health and wholesome.

Can you imagine what life would be like on this weary planet if we didn't come wired to want real connection?!!! Even if the world seems awful cold at times . . . love always triumphs.
