Cold Death of Life

Cold Death of Life

A Poem by Patience
"

Wrote this poem for school, it had to be winter themed.

"

What is winter

but the death of life

or perhaps it’s a chance

at a new beginning

Where the leaves once shown high above us in the trees are now cold sad hopeless branches

Beautiful rays of sun overcome by the darkness will it ever return to warm the frozen ground beneath us

Animals hiding away in warm shelters they've made not knowing exactly when this cold miserable season will end

xoxo (: thanks
the melancholy of this read is excellent. It really describes the mood of winter well. I could actually vision you sitting by a window observing and writing this on a cold winter day:) hope you got an A!
