Organ Concert

A Poem by organconcert

First glance awakened in me shy mornings of spring,

flirtatious summer playing hard to get.

Through a whirlpool of limbs spilled streams of azure,

and soon everything was under luminous water, floating.

Tempestuous shoals of revelers clouded these depths, and everything that I am willed the tides to sweep us together.

I swam through a current void of time,

during which a million stars were born, lived an eternity then burned out,

and disappeared.

She, like them, had disappeared.

In that moment, I feared that allowing a vessel of such colour drift away would surely drown me.

I tend to write short pieces which unintentionally end up being quite dark. Inspired mostly by dreams, I also enjoy exploring the themes of loss, guilt and the monotony of existence. Good wholesome fu.. more..
