Sometimes

     Sometimes,

              we wish

              away the childish mistakes

              we have made.

 

  

              we unknowingly hurt

              those who love us

              unconditionally, some secretly.

 

    

              we long to be

              the things we'll never be

              something unachievable.

 

    

              we covet those things

              that belong to others

              the things we'll never have.

 

    And sometimes,

             though seldom and scarce,

             we recieve exactly what we deserve

             and never realize it.
