Code Blue

Code Blue

A Poem by MandarinOranges
"

Another oldie but goodie...award winning even :)

"

A voice crackles over the line

We don't have much time

No chance to second guess

ETA one minute or less

Rouse the doc from his sleeping chair

Tensions rippen the air

Now through the door they roll

And reality takes a heavy toll

Tears begin to flow

For little did we know

We called this code blue

For a sweet lil girl of two

this was definately award winning material!
i loved the the point of view you wrote this from, i think that most ppl usually would write this story form the parent or friends point of view, so this perspective is refreshing. your rhyme scheme was flawless! brilliant poem!
