Safe haven

I wrote this as a lost soul looking for somewhere safe and peaceful.

The leverage of the night is a welcoming sight

To a soul that's biding its time

It continues to roam through a tormented domain

When it lost its frighted as it welcomes the night 

Embracing the cold darkness

Founded by warmth in the darkest of time 

Searching for a purpose no more

For its found in the darkness tonight

Cause the darkness holds the secret to life

Hides every secret defying all time 

And the ending of death

The darkness comforts us all in the end

The darkness it calls

Beckoning me home again

As the seasons swiftly shall change

Red, white, blue seal the heavy oak door

The darkness it wraps me like a warm blanket 

Its all I've ever known

The darkness is my way home

The darkness it comforts us all in the end

We welcome it back in the end
